This is post 1 in my series of blog/journal entries from my Europe trip. The text may be incomplete, fuzzy, with a side of terrible grammar. Please excuse the mess.
For a while I've wanted to write about my second experience in Europe, but I've been quite busy. I finally feel like I am getting back in to the swing of my normal life so now would be a great time to talk about it.
I've decided to break up these blog posts into my experiences in each city, therefore making them much more manageable to read. I took notes and wrote "blog" entries the whole trip in my Journal, and this would be a great place to share them.
If you haven't been following my twitter feed or the like you wouldn't probably have known that I left, but for around 2 weeks Lindy and I spent our days traveling 3 new countries, and re-visiting another one. We took off on a sunny Friday afternoon and headed from our little town in Kansas to Kansas City where we got on a flight to Boston. We arrived in Boston later that day, much to the disappointment of having to once again go through security. We found some food and sat around for a while until our flight boarded at 9.
Swiss Air is AWESOME
International flights suck. Anyone who has been on one knows just how much it sucks to be on a flight for 6 + hours, and those are the easy (short) ones. Anyway, Swiss Air made the suckiness far less sucky. The were awesome at providing decently good food, free beers, free chocolate, and loads of in-flight entertainment. I was incredibly surprised by their service and would highly recommend them for anyone flying to Europe. The flight was a short one and 6 3/4 hours later we were in the beautiful city of Zurich, Switzerland.
Coming Soon. Luzern, Switzerland
