This weekend we spent a few days visiting the lovely mountain town of Breckenridge CO and other towns in Summit County.
We first headed out to Idaho Springs on our way out of Denver to eat at Beau Jos!
We spent a lot of the weekend at the indoor pool and taking trips into town for shopping and hitting up the playground. I think Ada had a good time and was really excited about seeing the first snow of the season.
Here’s a photo dump of the weekend Ada got excited about my ski pass and wore it around our condo. She refused to give it up! Having a fresh pint at Breckenridge Brew Pub Strolling around town. On our way back to Loveland we stopped by one of my favorite moutnain towns; Dillon. This pic is from the walking path around Lake Dillon
I managed to sneak away for a day on the slopes during our trip. I had orignially planned to ski Breck that weekend, but unfortunately, they had not yet opened for the season. Since I have an epic pass I headed on over to Keystone for some early season snow. You can see my stats below from EpicMix
I crushed about 23,000 vertical feet over 13 lift rides on my first day out this season, which I’m pretty happy with. When I ski by myself I get tired way faster because I don’t stop much at all. By the end of the day, having only stopped for lunch, I was completely exahusted and my beard was covered in ice.
