Here’s my list of 2014 goals for the year and how I progressed.
I was totally planning to do this, almost did. In the late fall of 2014 I planned with a friend to hike the twin sisters, both of which are above 12k, however, weather prevented us from doing so. I did however, hike up Lilly Mountain at just around 10k feet.
This I completed fairly well given the shrinking amount of free time I seem to have. I made wine several times throughout the year and always had a constant supply. Beer on the other hand has been much harder to keep up with. Beer making requires a lot more effort, time and planning and I just haven’t been able to get that done this year. I’m hoping that after skiing season is up a brew or two might be in my future.
This did not happen this year, mostly because I switched jobs and didn’t make the cut off for funding. This will be added to my 2015 goals as I am going to PyCon 2015
This just did not happen. This project is dead.
I finally watched the vast majority of the world cup and participated in some friendly brackets. I will be doing this again next Euro and World cup.
Earlier this year when I was working more solo on some applications I got the opportunity to spend more time on server admin tasks that I think helped my appreciate those skills more. I picked up Salt and Ansible as well as learning my fair share of chef as well.
2014 was a great year, and I’m sure 2015 will be even better. I’ll be coming up with goals for 2015 soon.
